WHAT AM I LOOKING FOR
Learn how to use OPAC (Online public access catalouge).
What is a online catalouge? It is a:
database that lists the books available in a given school library or your local library.
What is a database?
A collection of data, stored on a computer.
The school library is a place where students and teachers can find
the information that they need to support their research tasks.
In the library we have two computers which holds all the library materials. This includes books, magazines, board games, CD-Roms, DVD's and most recently websites.
Using Fast Find
The Fast Find option is very easy to use. Think carefully about what you are looking for before you begin typing:
If you know the title of the book, type it in and click on title.
If you are searching for information on a specific topic type in the topics name then click on subject.
If you are searching for books by a certain author, type in the authors name then click author.

New Items
The new items option takes you directly to a list of resources that have recently been added to the catalogue.
However not all these books are out on the shelves yet, as it does take time to process all materials.
